Collection of Personal Data
When you sign up for the Freshmen Orientation Camp ("Memoria"), we will collect personal data from you for the purposes of registration, event administration, and event management. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, contact information, academic details, emergency contact details, and any dietary, accessibility, or medical requirements you choose to disclose.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Data
By participating in Memoria, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for purposes related to the planning, organisation, administration, and management of the camp. This includes communication with participants, logistical arrangements, safety and welfare management, and other administrative matters necessary for the conduct of the event.
We may disclose your personal data to authorised personnel, volunteers, or third-party service providers engaged by NUS Muslim Society (NUSMS), Persatuan Bahasa Melayu Kebangsaan Singapura (PBMUKS), or the National University of Singapore (NUS) for the purposes of organising and managing the camp. Such parties will be required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your personal data.
Photography, Videography and Publicity
Please note that photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other media may be taken during the camp. By participating in Memoria, you acknowledge and consent to the use, reproduction, publication, and distribution of such materials by NUSMS and PBMUKS for publicity, marketing, promotional, archival, reporting, and outreach purposes across print and digital platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, publications, and presentation materials.
Retention of Personal Data
Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as otherwise required by applicable laws, regulations, or university policies.
