IAS E2 - Is Islam Fair: Gender Roles and Responsibilities in Islam

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!

The conversation around genders roles and responsibilites in Islam is often clouded by cultural practices, misinterpretations, and personal interests that deviate from the faith’s core principles of justice. We invite you to join us for our event which clarifies a vital distinction: that perceived injustices are not a reflection of the Divine, but rather the result of imperfect human implementation. We hope you leave this session with a renewed perspective on how Islam acknowledges gender realities with fairness, empowering you to fulfil your respective roles as a man or a woman to the best of your ability.
