REACH Singapore Model Parliament

Registrations for the Singapore Model Parliament (SMP) 2026 is now open, and they are looking for students who may be interested in governance, public policy and civic participation.

Organised by REACH, the national feedback and engagement unit, the Singapore Model Parliament (SMP) is a flagship youth programme aimed at bringing young Singaporeans together, to debate national issues, engage policymakers, and develop ideas that could shape Singapore’s future.

Students are offered a unique opportunity to learn about Singapore’s parliamentary processes, develop critical thinking and public speaking skills, and engage in discussions on issues of national importance. The three-day event on 17, 18 and 24 October 2026 will feature workshops, group policy discussions and culminate in a parliamentary debate, giving participants first-hand experience in policy-making and civic dialogue. Apart from dialogues with Political Office Holders, students will also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Parliament House.
