The NUS Volunteer Action Committee (NVAC) is a wholly student-driven volunteer organisation that serves the community through direct volunteering, youth empowerment and encouragement of community and student initiatives. The vision of NVAC is “Touching Hearts, Developing You”.

Our mission includes:

PROMOTE the active participation in volunteerism and social service in NUS

DEVELOP volunteers to enable them to discover and realise their full potential

REACH out to the community and benefit the less fortunate in society

Established in 1990 with the initial aim of providing an avenue for undergraduates to volunteer their time to help the less fortunate in society, NVAC has since grown to become a leading student volunteer organisation in Singapore.

In 2011, NVAC was conferred the prestigious Ten Accomplished Youth Organization ASEAN Award, which serves to recognize the efforts of all NVAC volunteers.
